Assheton Gorton

Born Sedbergh, Yorkshire
Studied architecture at Cambridge University and fine art at the Slade School in London
Presently lives Powys, Wales
Production designer for many years. Highlights include television ‘Armchair Theatre’ productions and the films ‘Lost Angels’, ‘The French Lieutenant‘s Woman’, ‘Gulliver's Travels’, ‘The Magic Christian’ and ‘Blow Up’. Now dedicated to his own art.
Major activity in 2006 was a solo exhibition at Highgate Gallery, London.

Peter Cartwright

Presently lives and works in Southwell, Notts.
Former senior lecturer in fine art at Nottingham Trent and John Moores exhibitor, now drawing and painting consistently. Activities in 2006 have included Wirksworth and a two-man outing at Southwell Minster with Derek Sprawson.

Presently lives in Derbyshire with a studio at Persistence Works, Sheffield
Regular exhibitor at the Wirksworth Festival, Derbyshire and with the Northern Potters Association. Activities in 2006 have included an Arts Council funded two-month residency at Rufford Craft Centre and a lead artist residency on the Burngreave Public Art Project

Exhibition history includes   Art 99 (London and Miami), Roche Court, Wilts; Cairn Gallery, Gloucs; Yorkshire Sculpture Park; Hart Gallery and Angel Row in Nottingham.   Activities in 2006 have included the inaugural exhibition at Lacerta in Dorset, with Susan Michie,   Brian Graham and Simon Lewty.

Asif Kamal

1943   Born northern Pakistan
Medical doctor by training, was Consultant Physician at Lincoln County Hospital until 2005.
Presently lives and works in rural Lincolnshire and occasionally in Cromer, on the north Norfolk coast.  
Has exhibited consistently with Bend in the River since 1996
Mik Godley

Presently lives and works in Nottingham
Exhibition history includes the Bluecoat, Liverpool; Wakefield Art Gallery; Leeds City Art Gallery; the Djanogly, Nottingham and most recently at Future Factory, Nottingham. Activities in 2006 have included organizing Sideshow, Nottingham's British Art Show fringe, and being part of an Angel Row exhibition touring   the Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb, Croatia.
