Susan Michie
1946          Born Edinburgh

1960s/70s worked variously within the film industry, including assistant film editor to Tom Priestley, Stephen Frears, Halas and Batchelor, Ridley Scott Associates and Hugh Hudson. Returned to the industry in the 1990s, writing the screenplay ’Separate Lives' and various film treatments and adaptations, including work for Hat Trick Productions.

Currently working on 42 large-scale drawings on paper with the working titles ’The fallibility of memory', ’The thread of fate' and ’Codification of silence', employing methods from traditional women's folk art and craft and using a meticulous hand.
